Our History

Pine Forest Baptist Church was founded in 1907. Pine Forest has served the kingdom of God in Macon, Georgia for over 110 years. After almost a century of ministry in one location, we moved to a new facility at 1848 Tucker Road in order to reach a changing Macon landscape. Our future is brighter than ever as we follow God’s leading. We move forward in faith as we answer God’s call. You are invited to take the journey with us. Through this process, we have learned that the church is not the building, but the people, and their relationships that count. Pine Forest has always been, still is, and will continue to be a church focused on serving God…loving people…and changing lives.
